DIOCESE OF FRESNO WELCOMES NEW PRIEST!! - Congratulations to the REV. KRIS SORENSEN who was ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, May 24, for service in our Fresno Diocese. We are so blessed to have Fr. Sorensen here in our diocese and we pray that many more young men will follow in his footsteps. As Fr. Sorensen begins his journey as a priest, our prayers are with him as he ministers to the many disciples before him.

ST ANTHONY RETREAT CENTER - Private, individual retreat: Have you ever felt like you just needed some time away to think and pray? For most people, life keeps getting busier and the days, weeks, and months go by without time to process all that is going on in our hearts. Have you ever asked, “Where is God in all of this?” To what do I need to pay attention? How is God’s Spirit calling me? If those questions surface within you, it might be a good time for an private, individually directed retreat. An individual retreat is an unstructured time of quiet for prayer, reading, walking, and enjoying the beauty of nature with the opportunity of meeting with a spiritual director once a day to help sort out what God might be doing or saying in the mix of all that is going on in our lives. Both Msgr. Griesbach and Sr. Danielle Witt are trained, certified spiritual directors. There is nothing like a couple of days of quiet to allow the muddy waters of our lives to settle and clear. Cost is usually $100/day which includes private room and bath, all meals, and a session with the spiritual director.

PRAYER TIME WITH JESUS - “Jesus wants us all to come to Him in the Blessed Sacraments. He is there in person just waiting for you. No where on earth are you more welcome, nowhere on earth are you more loved, than by Jesus, living and truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. The time you spend with Him is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in heaven, and will help bring about an everlasting peace on earth.” (Mother Teresa) “Come Let Us Adore Him” Where: In the Parish Office Chapel (peaceful & beautiful) When: 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. “No appointment necessary,” just drop in during Chapel hours.
